The great Marie Chouinard has dived into the company’s repertory to extract stellar moments and create a new show featuring solos and duets.

In providing new perspectives on these small but perfectly formed choreographies, she has recreated: new costumes or sound environments, new choreographic adaptations… She has even rescued ideas that had remained in the pages of the choreographer’s notebook, to create a new duo.

There are a total of 24 miniature dance gems, each lasting between 1 and 10 minutes, which are presented in two acts without interruption. Pieces that have acquired unity after a long and profound creative process. This “radical vitality” first opened at the last Venice Biennale to great success, and it is radical in the sense of the Latin word radix, meaning root. In 2017, Marie Chouinard astounded us with her show based on “The Garden of Earthly Delights”, by Bosch. Now she is returning with another proposal that befits her status.
