The fears, jealousies and dreams of a women’s football team in a male-dominated society

12 to 14 december 2018

Playoff is the dramatic comedy of a women’s football team facing the game of their lives. It invites reflection on the role of women and women’s sports in a society that is still male-dominated in many areas. In the changing room, the girls give free rein to their fears and concerns, their jealousies, their passions and dreams.

La Joven Compañía is a platform for youths aged 18 to 27 who are interested in theatre trades, offering guidance from experienced professionals in the performing arts. The youths, in turn, share their passion with younger members of their generation, using culture as a tool for value education.
