ÓLAFUR ARNALDS

SOME KIND OF PEACE

In his performances, the artist and the audience share their vulnerability through music.

12 december 2022

Award-winning artist, composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds is back on the road following the release of his fifth studio album Some Kind of Peace (2020) on the Mercury KX label. It is his most revealing and vulnerable work to date; ultimately a journey of Ólafur’s personal and creative growth, set against the backdrop of a world in chaos. The album features special appearances by Bonobo, Josin and JFDR.

The Icelander’s performances continue to captivate audiences across the globe as he invites them to join him on a journey where he presents his most personal music, being played live on stage for the first time in this world tour. His haunting and intensely emotional shows are an exercise in intimacy, a space in which the artist and audience share their vulnerability through music. The show is a fascinating performance that brings together past, present and future. His ground-breaking piano sound will create unexpected harmonies and surprising melodic sequences that make every performance unique.
