Arriaga Theatre welcomes once again the prestigious international artist Noa, who returns to Bilbao with a very special project, “Letters to Bach”. In this new work, the singer has added lyrics, both in English and Hebrew, to 12 compositions by the great Johann Sebastian Bach, to which her voice adds a beautiful colour that blends perfectly with Bach’s brilliant polyphony.
Gil Dor, Noa’s long-time collaborator, has made the guitar arrangements for this project, and aims to break down barriers of language, gender or religion to build a bridge of musical excellence, respect and joy under the auspices of the great J.S. Bach.
