CONCERTS – OPEN STAGE SPACE
Inéditas offers music made by women who did not get the recognition they deserved just because they were women. Although it is part of our cultural heritage, their music has been kept hidden from the public for too long, waiting for someone who listens to it. This concert brings women composers to focus, thus making them visible. And making their music heard.
The music, to be performed by soprano Eugenia Boix, cellist Teresa Valente and pianist Susana García de Salazar, with the collaboration of actress Txaro Martínez de Urizar, is by four female composers: Julie Adrienne Carricaburu Roger, Emma Chacón, Emiliana de Zubeldia and Anita Idiartborde. It is high time they get the recognition they deserve.
