The young Deloris, an aspiring singer and wannabe diva, witnesses a murder and the police hide her in the last place she would want to go… a convent!

Rebellious and non-conformist, Deloris will revolutionise the peaceful life of this religious community and earn the admiration and affection of her new friends. But that won´t be enough to free her from her past…

Based on the box office smash SISTER ACT, starring Whoopi Goldberg, the musical features a soundtrack inspired by Motown, soul and funk sounds.

First opening on Broadway 5 years ago, in this short time the musical SISTER ACT has already shored up a long trajectory: it has been performed in 12 countries and translated into 7 different languages. In total, it has been seen by over 4 million people all around the world.

SISTER ACT the musical opens on 20th August in Bilbao´s Arriaga Theatre, coinciding with the Aste Nagusia festival, and will run until 13th September.
