SARA ZOZAYA
The singer of Nerabe goes solo with a new album and brilliant songs.
Sara Zozaya, born in Donostia, began her musical journey playing the accordion. At just 12 years old, she went from performing Piazzolla to composing her own songs, accompanied by guitar and keyboards. Today, in addition to being the lead singer of the band Nerabe, she has embarked on her own solo career.
In December 2018, she released her first EP, *Ill*—a short, intimate, and progressive record that the music magazine *Mondo Sonoro* ranked 7th among the year’s best demos. Zozaya won the *Hiriko Soinuak* contest and has performed in events such as “Los Aperitivos de Primavera Sound” in Barcelona, among many other venues.
The present looks especially promising for Sara Zozaya, with the release of her first solo LP, *NARA* (2025). This album offers ten brilliant tracks, both solo and collaborative, that flow seamlessly. Experiencing them live in the Arriaga foyer will be a true delight.
