After 30 years performing, Mag Lari’s life is a constant tour and, deep down, what he enjoys most is being on stage, getting to know different people and places, and doing what he does best: bewitch with his magic and make audiences laugh. What stands out most about Mag Lari is the way he does it. The great communicative capacity and his facet of magician-showman, coupled with his impeccable vivid aesthetics, result in a different kind of magic. Now, he visits Arriaga Theatre with Mag Lari Live, a family show with the same Mag Lari as always, the same surprises as always, the same humour as always and with the same make-believe as always.
Mag Lari (Josep Maria Lari Viaplana, Barcelona 1973) has been an illusionist for 30 years. His talent has taken him to theatres in Catalonia and all over Spain with performances such as Secrets, Splenda, Ozom and 25 Illusions, among many others. Mag Lari has also performed at international magic festivals in France, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and Japan.
His popularity is due, in part, to his appearances on radio and television (TVE, TV3, Antena3, La Sexta and Tele5), where he has collaborated with Albert Om, Javier Cárdenas, Andreu Buenafuente, Manel Fuentes, Carlos Sobera, “El Gran Dictat” and many more. Mag Lari has directed the program “Magic for Humans” for Netflix and the show “Nada es imposible” by Mago Pop, performed in Madrid, Barcelona and soon to be on Broadway.
