IKER LAUROBA
The artist will perform songs written in collaboration with well-known Basque writers and bertsolaris or sung poetry improvisers.
Iker Lauroba is a well-known musician who rose to prominence in 2004 with the band Lauroba, after previously playing in bands such as Utikan and Hamaika bide. He has released five solo albums since 2015, as well as partnering with Izaro on several of his compositions and being a member of his touring band.
Iker Lauroba has worked with many writers and bertsolaris throughout the course of his career, including Harkaitz Cano, Leire Ugadi, Jon Martin, Alaia Martin, and Beñat Gaztelumendi. He has compiled songs written with them for this special concert. Iker will be joined on stage vocally and musically by Olaia Inziarte, Urbil Artola, and Leire Berasaluze.
