Estrella Morente is coming to the Arriaga Theatre in 2019 with a new album called ‘Copla’. Morente is a captivating artist difficult to describe in words. Listening to her is the only way of sharing in the way in which she feels about her art.
From the subtle simplicity of the cantes festeros (festive flamenco styles) from her childhood days to the deeper layers of missed love, Estrella explores a full range of feelings, shades and emotions. Her voice revisits all the sensations of women today and in the old days, wrapped in the cosy blanket of this concert.
