In the tradition of the past few years, the Arriaga Theatre is paying a new tribute to Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, the composer after whom the theatre is named. On 27 January, it will play host to a very special concert, coinciding with Arriaga’s birthday. Oddly enough, another great composer, sometimes associated with the Basque musician, was born on 27 January as well: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Bilbao Sinfonietta are an ensemble specialising in small-scale symphonic and stage music, as well as in chamber music. In this concert, they will bring two musical geniuses – Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – face to face. A dialogue between masters to delight our ears.
