Bosch Dreams pays tribute to Hieronymus Bosch and the surrealist movement that found inspiration in his paintings. Pictures come to life right in front of you as amazing acrobatic artists unleash their playfulness across a fascinating 3D- canvas, showing the videos created by the French-Argentine video artist Ange Potier. Potier’s magic-realist video projections encompass everything that characterises both Bosch and the subsequent surrealist movement.
The show, created by the renowned circus company The 7 Fingers and Republique, was commissioned by Jheronimus Bosch 500 Foundation and Festival Circolo on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Bosch’s death, in 2016.
