ZARZUELA ON AIR 2.0

The Rossini Choir presents Zarzuela On Air 2.0, a musical-theatrical performance that revisits the best of Zarzuela in a renewed, fresh, entertaining way, accessible to all ages and audiences. It is an entertaining and original radio programme set in the 1950s, led by actors Iñaki Maruri and Mitxel Santamarina, in which the world of Zarzuela is the protagonist.

Zarzuela On Air 2.0 includes numbers from zarzuelas such as La verbena de La Paloma, El Dúo de la Africana, La del Soto del Parral, El Rey que rabió, Luisa Fernanda… among others.

In its second version, Zarzuela On Air 2.0 forms part of a larger project, Rossini On Air, created by the Rossini Choir, which is made up of several monographic performances with one common structure: a musical radio programme, set in a specific epoch and on a specific theme, serves as a framework to stage a different kind of show, a coral musical brimming with good music, humour and unforgettable moments for the audience.
