Jaume Aragall, from Barcelona, was one of the most outstanding tenors on the opera scene during the second half of the twentieth century. With the reputation of having one of the most beautiful tones of voice, he enjoyed success in the world’s most important theatres with a repertoire that included “Lucia di Lammermoor”, “Madame Butterfly”, “La Favorita”, “La Traviata”, “Werther”, “Faust”, “Tosca”, “Manon”, “Don Carlos”, “Adriana Lecouvreur”, “Un ballo in maschera” and “Simon Boccanegra”, among others.

Now, as part of the Educational Projects being offered by the Arriaga Theatre, we have the opportunity to access the legacy of sensitivity and knowledge amassed by a man who was one of the world’s great tenors.
