Based on research about ‘Prostitution in Madrid and Barcelona’, the stage director Andrés Lima and the producer Joseba Gil launched this project, a process of exploration about prostitution that materialises in the form of a theatrical-musical-documentary directed by Andrés Lima, and starring three leading actresses, Carmen Machi, Nathalie Poza and Carolina Yuste.

What is ‘Prostitution’? It is theatre and it is reportage. It is stage and video. It is music and dance. It is fiction and reality. It is a portrait, a photo, a fresco that comes to life on stage and screen through real and fictional characters. Desire, need, secrecy, violence, tenderness, pain, pleasure, company, paying for sex, charging for sex. The experience of prostitution, putting yourself in their place, putting yourself in their heels, running the risk, understanding.
