NEOMAK

Neomak will present their second album with a concert at the Teatro Arriaga. Its members first met as young girls, competing against one another in trikitixa championships, and later came together under the guidance of Kepa Junkera as *Sorginak*, performing as a group for six years. After a break, they realised the spark was still alive and enthusiastically created their own project: Neomak.

Their rise has been meteoric. With just two songs released in the summer of 2022, they played numerous concerts across the Basque Country, and after releasing their first album that September, they went on to perform throughout Spain and in several French cities. They were selected for the AIE’s *Artistas en Ruta* series and the WOMEX festival, toured South Korea and Japan, and performed at the Basque Diaspora Festival in Boise (USA).

Neomak are young women breaking boundaries and shaking audiences to their core. With their debut album, they filled major Basque theatres and got the Teatro Arriaga crowd dancing. Their second album will be released in autumn 2025, and in early 2026, we’ll get to experience their powerful new live show.
