The outstanding former German dancer and now acclaimed choreographer Stephan Thoss is the artistic director of NTM Tanz at the National Theatre Mannheim. He wanted to write a few lines to introduce the performance they will be bringing to us:
“It gives me great pleasure to present here, in the stunning Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao, some of the highlights of recent years, in my tenth season with the Dance Company of the National Theatre Mannheim. Our company has become a magnet for internationally renowned choreographers, standing out not only for its extraordinary dynamism in dance, but also for its creative potential. This is especially evident in the inspiring processes we develop with our guest choreographers. In our programme, you will be able to enjoy the latest choreographic work by the Van Opstal brothers, entitled Mommy Look. In addition, we will present my personal interpretation of Boléro, 17 minutes, distinguished by its refined wit and striking musicality. One of the highlights of the evening will be the exceptional work *Dreamer*, by Martin Harriague, which combines expressive dance with captivating reggae music. We very much look forward to sharing these special moments with you!”
