TICKET REFUND

To recover the cost of tickets purchased for cancelled shows, the procedure will be as follows:

If the tickets were purchased via Internet, the price will automatically be refunded, by crediting the credit card with which payment was made. Due to the large volume of tickets, we would ask you to please be patient.

If the tickets were purchased at the theatre, the price will be refunded once the confinement period is over, at Arriaga Theatre box office during normal working hours.

Javier Hernández-Simón, the director from Bilbao, takes the reigns at this project, headed up on stage by actress Laia Marull. This play looks at the notion that love is the key to everything. Sometimes love is a deep sea in which we might drown, a place which is at the same time prison and horizon, a time that has stopped, where not even air moves. Sometimes love is a snowy summer…a chimera, a story we tell ourselves so that we can go on living. The love of Mariana Pineda is like this.

A great deal has been said about Mariana Pineda, both the historic figure and the character created by the great poet Federico García Lorca, debating whether Mariana was a revolutionary woman or whether, on the contrary, she was just a woman in love. But there can be no doubt that Mariana Pineda is a person who dares to pursue her certainties until the very end, until the very last consequences.
