Where does human creativity stand in a world ruled by Artificial Intelligence?
In a dystopian world where Artificial Intelligence dominates every aspect of human life, anyone who questions the established rules is considered a potential subversive threat to the system—and must therefore be eliminated to preserve collective peace and security. In this unsettling future, Amalur emerges to awaken humanity from its emotional slumber and attempt to reconnect it with the force of Mother Earth.
The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has opened up countless possibilities and sparked great expectations for the future of humanity, yet it also raises numerous questions, uncertainties, and fears. With AI, what happens to the emotions that make us human? What space is left for creativity?
A.I. (Amalur Indarra) is the second production by the Lucia Lacarra Ballet, following their acclaimed debut Lost Letters, which had its world premiere at the Teatro Arriaga and marked the beginning of the company led by Basque star Lucía Lacarra.
