LEIOA KANTIKA KORALA, directed by Basilio Astulez, is one of the most prestigious children’s choirs on the international stage. Over two decades of concerts, festivals and tours round Europe, America and Asia, it flaunts its artistic prowess at every performance.
Due to its excellent artistic level, its incredible sound and musicality, its innovative programme and colourful, dynamic choreography, it has received resounding applause from critics and audiences in over 15 countries, and more than 20 awards in national and international contests.
Proof of its versatility lies in this Christmas programme, entitled DIZDIZKA ZERUAN (Shining in the sky), with Christmas carols from all over the world, put together especially for this occasion. Famous songs such as The First Noel, Carol of the Bells, Hator hator are interspersed with works written for LKK by modern composers, as the choir gets behind new creation, integrating music, the spoken word and movement into an unforgettable concert with a huge visual and sound impact.
