FILOSOFÍA MUNDANA

*Mundana* is that philosophy which, although contained in a book meant to be read, improves when spoken aloud. For *mundana* philosophy, the audience comes before the reader, just as the lover comes before the thinker. And only when the live audience engages with the ideas, allows themselves to be enamoured by them, and gets lost in the soaring flight of passionate and living thought spoken by the actors, only then has philosophy fulfilled its purpose.

This stage proposal aims to invite each viewer to broaden their critical reasoning about things, thereby removing the prejudices about philosophy and turning what we believe to be distant into something close. Philosophy for everyone. In this proposal, to philosophize is akin to planting seeds. To wait, without demanding or rushing, for each viewer to find, with much humour and irony, their own path among the ideas, just as one might wander through a garden without a map.

Based on the intellectual universe of Javier Gomá—one of the most influential contemporary thinkers in the Spanish-speaking world—this production offers a unique experience: to bring to the stage a selection of the philosophical micro-essays gathered in the volume *Filosofía Mundana* by the Galaxia Gutenberg publishing house.
