Two actresses, from two different generations, must play the same character...
Directed by Silvia Munt and with a cast headed by Ana Belén, this play is inspired by the classic Eva al desnudo, by Joseph L. Mankiewicz. Two actresses, from two different generations, must play the same character… In this co-occurrence, two ways of understanding life and the profession clash. The younger actress struggles to get a chance to make herself known. The older actress strives to ensure that the passing of the years does not make her disappear from the stage.
This does not necessarily make them enemies, but rather it is more about complementary looks that can learn from each other, without any need to destroy each other. Will they realise this or will they end up annihilating each other? As they discover this, the five characters of Eva contra Eva use the theatre to talk about life and life to talk about the theatre.
