Lucrecia Conti, the most important actress in Spanish film, theatre and TV, has died. Like her fans, we will attend her funeral in a theatre, as arranged by the Ministry of Culture. Lucrecia’s grandchildren, Ainhoa and Mayte, will try to impose some order, since a lot of people have turned up to pay their last respects to Lucrecia. There is Miguel too, a distant relative.
Things change when Lucrecia’s ghost appears to bid farewell in style and no-one can leave the theatre. They cannot believe their eyes. The ghost has a few issues to deal with. The street is swarming with journalists…
The actor Antonio Resines is currently signed off work owing to a back complaint. The Pentación Espectáculos theatre company notified the Arriaga of these circumstances on 28 August 2018. This complaint prevents him from acting in performances of “El funeral” in Bilbao. His part will be played by the actor Jordi Rebellón.
