Dantzaz Konpainia: Áureo

Internationally-renowned choreographers are to debut their five new creations at the Arriaga Theatre.

International artists, regular collaborators of the world’s biggest companies, are to debut their creations at the Arriaga Theatre with Dantzaz Konpainia.

“Aureus” is a special contemporary dance production, made up of five short pieces; a series of “tastes” of different styles of dance, international quality being the common factor, each dance has been put together for everyone’s enjoyment.

As such, Dantzaz Konpainia has invited five choreographers, combining international excellence with the freshness of youth: Itzik Galili, Lukas Timulak and Jone San Martin represent the highest levels of quality in contemporary dance worldwide, and their pieces are combined on this special night with the creations of two great young choreographers: Judith Argomaniz and Christine Hassid.

The name of the new Dantzaz production comes from the “Golden Ratio”, also called the “divine proportion”, commonly used in the architecture and sculpture of Ancient Greece.
