Lisbon singer Carminho comes to Teatro Arriaga to present her latest album, *Eu vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir*. It is the seventh album in the career of an artist deeply committed to the continuous exploration of fado in all its forms, once again reaffirming a personal voice that consecrates her as the unique figure she is. Inspired by the voice, female presence and the genre’s plasticity, Carminho opens the door in this album — featuring 11 tracks, 8 of them her own compositions — to the coexistence of experimental music within the emotional core of fado, promising a concert that will leave no one indifferent.
Carminho is one of the most respected voices in contemporary fado, thanks to a solid career built on outstanding studio albums and remarkable live performances. Her stature has also led her to work with top-level artists. A good example is her appearance on Rosalía’s acclaimed album *Lux*, where the two perform the song *Memoria* as a duet, written by Carminho herself. In recent years, she has collaborated with figures such as Caetano Veloso, Steve Albini, Pablo Alborán and Laurie Anderson, among others.
