Some children play in the land where everything begins. They throw themselves into discovering the world by transforming their universe. They imitate grown-ups with boldness and ease. They dare to love, without knowing what love truly means. They don’t hesitate to become enemies before even finding the word *hate* in their pockets. They know about smells, skin, touch, abandonment, refuge, desire. But they don’t know about time.

And suddenly, more than sixty years have passed. Now, aged, they pull out handfuls of words from their pockets, falling like withered leaves. They still know about smells, skin, touch, abandonment, refuge, desire. And paradoxically, they still quarrel—despite now understanding the true meaning of love. They know about time. What they don’t know is that love always gives us another chance.

Ten years ago, the company Marie de Jongh premiered this show, co-produced with Teatro Arriaga. Since then, it has received widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike, as well as numerous awards including the MAX Award 2017 for Best Children’s or Family Show, the FETEN Award 2016 for Best Show, and the ERCILLA Award 2015 for Best Basque Production, to name just a few. What better way to celebrate this decade than by offering once again the chance to enjoy this theatrical gem.
