After *Lehman Trilogy* (2018) and *Ladies Football Club* (2022), Sergio Peris-Mencheta once again directs a text by the Italian writer Stefano Massini: *7 Minutes*. Its plot is as follows: eleven women — factory workers and administrative employees in a textile factory — are faced with making a decision about a clause proposed by the new owners. The plant will not close and no one will be dismissed. But there is one condition. The company demands that the paid daily break be reduced from fifteen minutes to eight. Seven fewer minutes a day, just seven.

Eleven different ways of feeling and thinking in the face of a decision about their working future. They have an hour and a half to decide what stance the eleven delegates, representing 200 workers, are going to take. Fears emerge in extreme situations, and human weaknesses come to the surface: workers of different ages and life experiences, some immigrants, others with their own dreams and obsessions, some conformist, others rebellious.

*7 Minutes* unfolds in real time, turning the stage into a space of urgent deliberation where every word matters. Inspired by a real event that took place in a French factory, the play is a choral thriller about work, dignity and the power of collective decision-making when time is running out.
