Sueño

The closer he got to death, the more he wanted to live and love

09 to 11 february 2018

The story of a man who, the closer he gets to death, the greater his desire to live and love. With death knocking at the door, the old man drinks, and every time he drinks he remembers his loves, from the first to the last. And so he rejuvenates. But when the drink runs out…

“Sueño” is inspired by Shakespeare’s comedies, but the story is based on a personal tragedy of the director, Andrés Lima, specifically the death of his father. And so this tragic comedy is the result, at the same time funny and cruel, a journey of emotions that take shape through the juggling act performed by a group of actors exposed to risk.
