Great names of the stage such as Ernesto Caballero (author), Mario Gas (director) and José María Pou (actor) developed this play around the figure of the famous Roman orator, who witnessed the intense struggles and violent transformations that rocked the 1st Century BC. Pou, as Cicero, embodies the moral integrity of one who maintains the consistency of his political convictions, even under the most adverse circumstances.

Cicero is presented to us as an exceptional politician in a world of petty ambitions, disloyalties and shady deals, so characteristic of public life since then. In addition, the proposal draws from characteristics typical of today’s world and so eerily similar to the world of Cicero.
