After reading, in a documentation centre in Texas, the original letters William Faulkner sent to his lover Meta Carpenter, our protagonist decides to reassess his marriage. He revisits his sentimental life, the changes brought by 17 years of living together, the desire to create a family and its inevitable routine; what gets lost, what we manage to hold on to, what we long not to lose, the natural course of a love that had seemed idyllic in youth.

Jacobo Bergareche wrote a story about love and heartbreak; a beautiful landscape that invites us to pause and reflect on the inevitable. And it is not only a beautiful literary story, but also something that can be imagined for the magical transmutation the stage allows us. From there comes Daniel Veronese’s adaptation, and now it is the turn of a great actor, an internationally acclaimed Argentine such as Leonardo Sbaraglia, who takes on a performance full of nuance.
