Friends from many years ago, Tomás is a unexceptional author and Germán is an actor who has never managed to stand out much in his profession. Germán has money problems and desperately wants to sell his apartment. He has a meeting with a possible buyer and asks his friend Tomás to come along because, although what he writes are of dubious quality, his face inspires confidence. This is his great quality.
They wait for the buyer. Buyer or poor innocent victim of a hoax? While waiting, both friends get talking. They flatter, annoy and tease each other. Until things start to get worse. They start arguing and making accusations that they have been suppressing for a long time. When the buyer arrives, he witnesses an uncompromising settling of scores between the two friends.
Will the buyer remain as a mere spectator, or will he become a referee? Or worse still, the victim of a plot?
