HERA HYESANG PARK Y RUBÉN FDEZ. AGUIRRE
A recital full of emotion, vocal beauty, and musical sensitivity.
The Lied Arriagan cycle at the Teatro Arriaga welcomes two performers who will appear together for the first time in Spain, and they will do so in the theatre’s Foyer. South Korean soprano Hera Hyesang Park, one of the most acclaimed voices on the international lyrical scene, makes her debut in our series with an intimate recital accompanied by pianist Rubén Fdez. Aguirre—musical director and driving force behind this cycle, a leading figure in vocal accompaniment and a key name in the world of *lied* and opera.
Hera Hyesang Park, praised for her “radiant singing and natural fluidity” (*The Times*), has performed on world-renowned stages such as the Metropolitan Opera, Berlin Staatsoper, and the Glyndebourne Festival. Her artistic approach, which blends her Korean heritage with Western training at the Juilliard School in New York, brings a unique depth to each performance. Among her recent highlights are appearances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, as well as the release of her album *Breathe*, published by Deutsche Grammophon. Now, she comes to Bilbao with Rubén Fdez. Aguirre to offer a recital full of emotion, vocal beauty, and musical sensitivity.
