Clare Burns, a 42-year-old woman, and Alex Priest, a 72-year-old man, meet at the Saint Pancras station in London. From behind, Clare believes that Alex is her father (who passed away a year ago) and in an “absurd” frenzy, she kisses him on the neck. This heated encounter will be the beginning of a wonderful game that will change both of their lives.
With Heisenberg, Simon Stephens wants to show us how uncertain and comical human connection can be.
