An unexpected pregnancy leaves a fighter pilot’s career up in the air. She will no longer take off into the blue. Now she flies a remotely operated drone from a climate-controlled container in the Nevada desert, staring at a grey screen. By day, she tracks terrorists 8,000 km away and kills at the push of a button.
At night, she goes home to have dinner with her husband and play with her daughter and her pink ponies, as if nothing had happened. But little by little, the different realities begin to overlap. Each day it becomes harder to tell the difference between work and everyday life, between the Nevada desert and the one in Afghanistan.
