“Mikelote y Pantxo” have been a successful artistic couple for years. But their formula is worn out. They have lost their place, which is now taken over by the new generations of comedians. The time has come to leave the stage. Pantxo assimilates this forced retirement quite well. He has been looking forward to getting away form that crazy world of teatre, yearning for a normal, quiet, sensible life. But Mikelote doesn’t accept that the end has finally come. The venom of the theatre is raging in his veins. And this venom leads him to madness.
One day, Mikelote, loony “live performer”, appears before Pantxo inviting him to take to the roads, to perform all over the Basque Country, from town to town, in the delusion that “the Basque theatre needs us”. On their fantastic journey they run into crazy imbroglios and meet incredible characters deformed by Mikelote’s feverish imagination.
