ERAIKUNTZARAKO MATERIALA
What is an absence made of? How do you rebuild what is no longer there?
Sand, cement, lime. What is an absence made of? How do you build what is no longer there? And how do you tell, through words and through the body, the story of a family relationship marked by love, pain, dependency and silence? *Eraikuntzarako materiala* begins with the intimate chronicle of the relationship between a father and a daughter; a private, complex and long-lasting bond, marked by alcohol and by the difficulty of naming what hurts.
The story begins after the collapse: from the voice of a daughter trying to find a way of looking at her father, of understanding him, of caressing him with words or, at least, of gathering his fragments. The house, the storeroom, the letters, the objects, the memories and the wounds clinging to the body become narrative material. As in the novel, the stage also proposes a construction: piece by piece, layer by layer, an attempt to illuminate a dark area of family memory.
