BILBOKO UDAL MUSIKA BANDA – BANDA MUNICIPAL DE BILBAO

In contemporary band music, inspiration arises from a wide range of concepts and eclectic aesthetics. This programme by the Bilbao Municipal Band brings us closer to the sonic artistry of three current composers: American Frank Ticheli, Japanese Satoshi Yagisawa, and Swiss Franco Cesarini.

From different perspectives, each of them presents scores that speak of sensations and legends, using contrasting musical languages that explore the expressive potential of a modern wind and percussion orchestra, all under the interpretative vision of conductor Virginia Martínez.
