A self-taught singer and a nonconformist, Benito Lertxundi always chooses his own path. He has sung his songs for more than 50 years now, always ahead of trends and conventions. Now, he is coming to the Arriaga Theatre to present Ospakizun gauean, his latest work.
The ten songs in this album talk about the need to unlearn in order to follow your instincts and the free soul of oppressed peoples, and evoke images by writers like Jorge Bucay or Fernando Pessoa.
The bard of Orio will play his new songs, as well as older hits, alongside the musicians who recorded the album with him.
