Abendua Arestiz is an artistic and musical project that marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Gabriel Aresti, a key figure in contemporary Basque literature. Led by the youth choir Euskeria, this performance features contemporary voices who bring Aresti’s words to life through innovative pop musical arrangements, creating a unique poetic and sonic experience. The tribute is a collaboration between the Bilbao Choral Society and Euskaltzaindia, blending tradition and modernity to honour a voice that still resonates powerfully in Basque culture.
